Searching For Christ
There are many reasons why we search for answers, relevance or meaning to our present situation… or help in finding a way out of the circumstances that seem to be controlling our life and spiraling out of control.
These reasons can be grouped into 4 categories:
(1) Mental (2) Social (3) Physical (4) Spiritual
Mental
Mental health disorders can cause a persistent feeling of sadness and can be overwhelming.
Are you suffering from:
- Depression ● Anger ● Childhood Trauma ● PTSD
- Death of a loved one ● Anxiety ● Worry or Stress
Some of the common causes of these conditions can be: due to money related issues; declining health; personal or professional failure; current or childhood emotional, physical or sexual abuse.
You may have tried to get rid of these issues yourself or sought out professional help, but still find yourself struggling to find happiness or peace of mind.
Put your trust in Jesus, seek him and you will find happiness and peace in Him.

Social
Family, friends, peer groups, workplace associates make up our social network. The people in each can, not only make our lives complicated, but also cause a breakdown of the fundamental nature of who we are.
Marriage breakup, loss of a spouse or loved one, family conflicts with friends or business associates can lead to depression, loss of self-confidence, and may even lead to a dependence on drugs or alcohol.
In many ways who we are is defined by relationships with the ones we love…and when that is taken away it can be a struggle to find happiness.
Jesus loves us unconditionally! Place your Trust in Him and he can lead you out of the darkness and give you purpose and meaning to your life.

Seasons of Life – “When Hard Times Come”
Physical
Health issues, such physical or emotional pain, can drive us to find worldly solutions that will help us to forget or bury the constant suffering and the endless feeling of hopelessness.
Often this leads us to behavioral addictions, which can include: alcohol, drugs and/or prescription drugs, work, pornography/sex, eating disorders, internet, video games, cellphone or even exercise addiction.
Any one of these can throw our lives out of balance and cause a feeling of loneliness, depression, anger, hate and even suicidal thoughts.
If you could have broken away from this downward spiral by yourself, you already would have done it.
The way out is to put your trust in Jesus and let Him take control of your life. In that you will find inner peace.

Spiritual
There are those who are searching for meaning and purpose to their lives. It may be because they can’t find answers in worldly pursuits, some may have lost hope, hit rock bottom and have nowhere else to turn.
Others have rejected what you grew up with, or it has rejected them – have you rejected God?
Maybe there is a lack of personal joy and satisfaction and you know that this can’t be all there is. Are you thinking, there has to be a greater purpose to my life…and how do I discover what it is?
Fulfillment in one’s life comes from your relationship with Jesus. Do you sincerely want to find out who God really is and what is His plan for you?
